For the last two years, Green Alliance’s consortium of leading businesses, working under the theme of ‘Designing out Waste’, has been instrumental in putting product policy back on the agenda, stimulating a debate about the need for a more ‘circular economy’, and aligning the resource security debate with a wider debate about resource resilience.
This event marks the end of this phase of activity, and looks forward to a new iteration of Green Alliance’s work as the ‘Circular Economy Task Force’, to be formally launched in June.

The catalyst debates
This series of Green Alliance debates analyses specific issues in depth with small expert audiences. There have been four debates so far covering green growth, the impact of localism, the Eurozone crisis and energy demand.
